Zymar is indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by suspectible strains of the following organisms : Aerobic Gram - positive bacteria : cornyebacterium propinquum - Staphylococcus aureus - Staphylococcus epidermidis - Streptococcus mitis - Streptococcus pneumoniae. Aerobic Gram - negative bacteria : - Haemophilus influenza. - Efficacy for this organisms was studied in fewer than 10 infections
